AMT/ERTL 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collectors Edition Dealer Promo Model, 1:25 scale, catalog #8157EO.
This is the 1990s ERTL reissue of the original 1982 Corvette dealer promo tooling (box copyright 1994, The Ertl Company, Dyersville IA, Made in China) — not a period 1982 promo. Please note this if you are specifically collecting original-run examples.
Body is silver/pewter with the maroon "Collector Edition" fender stripe and black roof panel, maroon vinyl-look bucket seat interior, chrome wire wheels, and "Cross-Fire Injection" callout on the rocker panel. Collector Edition badges are present front and rear.
CONDITION — DISCLOSED IN FULL:
- Model: mint, no flaws found — no scratches, chips, cracks, or loose parts observed
- Box: excellent, crisp, no creases, tears, or writing
- The model has been removed from its factory plastic bag but has never been displayed or handled beyond that — it is complete and correctly seated back in the box tray
- No outer shipping carton included — only the printed AMT/ERTL box shown in photos
- Stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment
