CONDITION: Near Mint
Near Mint (NM): Excellent with only the most minor flaws visible on close inspection, such as faint handling marks or very light shelf wear. Complete and displays beautifully. Packaging, if present, may show only very minor shelf wear.
The model itself is exceptionally clean — deep, glossy candy red paint with no visible chips, bright chrome, crisp gold sponsor lettering, and all delicate parts (injector scoop, parachute pack, wheelie bars, mirrors) present and correctly attached. A very light layer of display dust is visible in close-ups and will brush off easily. Original box shows moderate storage wear: light corner and edge rubs, mild creasing on the clear top window, and a small piece of tape with some adhesive residue near the seams on the back panel. All graphics remain crisp and the plastic inner tray is intact. Wood display base is included and clean.
A great piece for gasser, NHRA, or Willys collectors — Big John Mazmanian's '41 Willys ran a best of 9.77 at 149 mph and remains one of the most recognized cars of the 1960s A/Gas Supercharged wars.
