Exoto Racing Legends 1:18 scale die-cast — 1965 Chaparral 2C #65, the car
Hap Sharp drove to victory at the 1965 Los Angeles Times Grand Prix at
Riverside. Exoto model RLG18147. From the Racing Legends series — Exoto's
premium 1:18 line renowned for hundreds of individual precision parts,
opening body panels, full engine detail, functioning suspension, and
photo-etched hardware.

CONDITION
Factory fresh, never displayed. The chassis is still secured to the
original styrofoam base and has not been lifted out. Body panels
(front clamshell, rear engine cover) remain packed separately in the
foam tray, exactly as shipped from Exoto. Tissue wraps still in place.
Paint, chrome, and fine details all appear flawless in their untouched
factory state.

Because the model is still in its original factory-packed state, I have
not removed the panels to verify every internal detail hands-on — buyer
should expect the same factory-fresh state seen in the photos.

WHY THIS ONE MATTERS
Exoto ceased production years ago and the Racing Legends line is
retired — no new examples are being made. RLG18147 in this
factory-fresh, never-assembled state is uncommon; most surviving
examples have been at least partially assembled and displayed.
Original MSRP was $1,895.
