CMC 1:18 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR (W196S) - 1955 Mille Miglia Winner - #722
HAND-SIGNED ON THE HOOD BY SIR STIRLING MOSS
Limited Special Edition - Certificate of Authenticity Included (#551 of 722)

This is CMC's tribute to the single greatest drive in motorsport history: Stirling Moss and navigator Denis Jenkinson's legendary 1955 Mille Miglia victory in the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR, completing the 1,000-mile Italian road race at a record average speed that stood for decades.

This CMC Limited Special Edition comes with Sir Stirling Moss's signature applied directly to the hood, and CMC's factory Certificate of Authenticity (in German, "Zertifikat") confirming the signature and stating this is edition number 551 of only 722 models produced - a nod to the car's famous race number.

Highlights:
- Extraordinary level of detail typical of CMC's museum-quality builds - wire wheels, correct plaid interior fabric, wood-rim three-spoke steering wheel, exposed inline engine under the forward-hinged hood
- Opening doors and hood, detailed underbody and engine bay
- Correct #722 Mille Miglia livery with Union Jack roundel
- Original CMC box, foam packaging, and included assembly/spare-wheel instruction sheet all present

Condition:
- Model has been displayed in the past and is now kept boxed; no damage, chips, or missing parts that I'm aware of - please review all photos closely, as they show the actual item you will receive
- Certificate of Authenticity included, numbered 551/722
- Original box and all paper inserts present

Please review all photos carefully before bidding/buying, and feel free to ask any questions.
